A hijab is part of my religion and it also represents me. In my culture most of the girls wear hijab but we are supposed to wear hijab for all Muslims. But some people wear them and some people don't. As girls, all Muslim girls wear hijab also wearing hijab represents our religion and what religion we are from.  It also is connected to past times for my family and for me too. We wear hijab to cover our hair. In our religion we shouldn't show our hair, that's why hijab is really important to us.  In my society, we need to cover up because they said it protects us from harassment so if we wear hijab we can avoid the harassment.
