Gyro
When I first started going to school in U.S. i didn't knew what can i eat and what i cant. The fact that I was born Muslim and had restrictions on things which I could eat, I use to see most people eating tacos and i wanted to eat it as well so i told my dad that i wanted to eat tacos, but he refused saying that we are not allowed to eat things like that. I was a child and got mad at him and the next day to make me happy he took me to this small restaurant which smelled amazing and got me a gyro. It looked like the tacos halal version and when i took my first bite it was so good that till this day when we have a vacation or its a weekend we still go to eat it.
