My Guitar that I use to play

My family is from Mexico. They had a lot of traveling to get to the United States. My grandfather was the first one to arrive to the United States and then the rest of the family joined him. One thing that is important to my family is that I play my guitar. Which means that when I play it brings back the culture that I had when we were in Mexico. This helps bring my family together and even though we don’t celebrate the culture as much or even celebrate anything at all. I am part of the city art program where we play during the winter and spring. Just me being part of the program lets my family have a time where they can celebrate their culture at least one time or are able to do it. This means a lot to me because when I was little I was in a music class where we played just a ukulele but then got thne chance to play other instruments which I picked the guitar. I promised my dad that I would get really good at the guitar before he passed away. So the guitar is important to me becasue I promised my dad I would do it and it's one of my favorite things to do because it reminds me of my dad and it makes my family not forget their culture and not forget my dad. #culture
