Great Grandparents Photograph
My object is an old picture of my great grandparents. This picture was taken in their farm in Trapogna, on the mountains outside of Borgotaro, outside of the city of Parma. They lived in Italy for their whole lives, having my mom there as the summer helper. When she was little, she would pick the apricots from the trees for them. They grew all different kinds of vegetables and fruit all by themselves into old age. My great grandfather raised and breed hunting beagles and bloodhounds as well as italian breeds of dogs for hunting. My great grandfather was a hunter himself. He hunted wild boar, jackrabbit (called lepre), pheasant, and deer. Now my mom wants a farm, mainly influenced by my great grandparents. This picture reminds me of my past heritage and shows my great grandparents, which my brother, sister and I call them old nonna and old nonno, which means great grandmother and great grandfather.
