My father's blanket

My father at some point being in the various concentration camps, he was in Buchenwald, Auschwitz – Birkenau, Bergen Belson, and however many more, decided to commit suicide. I have researched but I do not know where he got this blanket. It’s a good wool blanket that has one worn spot. The consensus is if my father worked in one of the warehouses, he might have found it there. He was going to walk near the electrified fence to commit suicide, with the blanket over his head and continue walking until he was electrocuted. But that didn’t happen because my father had a vision of me under the chuppah. When he last saw me, I was a year and a half, not ready for marriage, a round, fat little baby with a mop of black hair. But somehow, he saw me under the chuppah getting married. We say he either made a deal with God or the devil because I was married July 1st, 1962, and he died November 23rd, 1962, from the stress of concentration camp but he did walk me down the aisle and see me under the chuppah.
