Grandma’s Rice

My grandma’s rice is an important thing in my family. She makes it at all family events and gatherings, no matter how big or small. It’s a simple thing to make but the way she makes it is just different, it’s just so good. Any time there is a birthday, holiday, quince, or even funeral, they all ask for my grandma’s rice to be made. Our whole neighborhood knows her for that reason, they all ask for any event and she always does it. Anytime me and my brothers or all my cousins are at her house that’s the go to meal because it's so easy and simple and we all love it. It originated from her mom(my great grandma) who taught her and now she just keeps it going. She's even taught some of my cousins how to make it and I need her to teach me too. Her riceis a big part of our family as it brings all of us closer together at any time of the year. What makes it even more special is that it was my great grandma that originally started making it the way she does and it's stuck for so long.
