These are his books that he has written over the years that belonged to my Papoú. He had always had a passion for writing and was known for the history that he new about York, Kittery and Portsmouth. These books are about 92 years old and are precious. It’s special to our family because it was my Grandfather and he passed away. He has written many books and they all had beautiful history in them. It teaches everyone about the history of these towns and is good to tourists that come. It’s magnificent how he could describe his life and history so well. It’s part of us because it’s like he still sees us and it is his mark he made so that we would remember him. It symbolizes my Grandfather. He has taught me to never give up and push for what I want and he loved sports as much as I do and would have loved to see me play. Now these books are used in history building for when people give tours about the place.
