Grandfather from Ireland

My Grandpa, Basil Brunner, was born in County Mayo, Ireland in 1935.
When he was 19 he got sponsored by his local hair barber to come to America with him. He jumped at this opportunity and came to America to start his new life. He spent years working in New Jersey and then ventured to the west coast and settled in San Jose, California. He then enlisted in the Army shortly after meeting the love of his life, my grandma, Carmen. He served our country for years, while maintaining a relationship with my grandma. They wrote letters to each other constantly. When he was done serving, they got married immediately and had their first child, my uncle, together shortly after. Then my mother was born in 1962, and they continued to have 4 more children after that! So they have a total of 6 children!
The first picture is my grandpa sitting on The Cliffs of Moher before he moved to America. You are not allowed to sit out on the cliffs like this anymore for obvious safety reasons, but this is one of my favorite pictures of my grandpa.
The other picture is of him 5-6 years ago when he went back to Ireland to visit his home, a farmland in County Mayo.
I also included a picture of an Irish blessing that he loved. He was a very religious man and had one of the strongest faiths. This blessing was very important to him.
