My story starts with my mom who was born in Copandaro, Michoacan in Mexico on 1978. She is the youngest of six and is the only one in her family that comes from another dad. She grew up in a restricted household, since she was the youngest my grandmother was overly protective of her. She lived across the street from my dad and that’s how she met him. She immigrated to the US at the age of 18. My father was already here waiting for her. Thanks to her sacrifice of leaving her beloved home country, my siblings and I are here today. They did the best coming from having so little growing up, to making sure we had everything for us. I'm so thankful and reminded everyday of their sacrifice. Everything I do to this day is for them, me getting my bachelors(hopefully) this next semester will be all because of them. My goal is to make them proud and in return give them a better life as well.
