My object is a golden egg. The egg is plastic and cheap and was usually bought from some random store. The tradition behind it is during Easter egg hunts the golden egg had money in it. This object is important to me because it brings my family together and was something we looked forward to after easter dinner. The egg didn't have a lot of money in it but the pride and bragging rights that came with finding it was important. When finding the egg, my siblings and my cousins would get super competitive and aggressive. This object represents me because it holds such good memories and is a tradition that we always had.
