Every year when I hang my Christmas ornaments on the tree there's this one that really sticks out to me. It's an ornament that's made out of 14 karat gold and the reason it really sticks out to me is because it reminds me why we celebrate Christmas. It's to celebrate the birth of Jesus. This ornament brings me to realization that I should be a better me and it reminds me that Jesus is our savior. Another reason why this ornament is important to me is that it holds so many memories. For example, every year me and my sister hang the ornaments on the tree and i usually do the high ones and i always try to put this ornament in the perfect spot where everyone can see it and sometimes i just stare at it thanking jesus for everything i have in life, my family, my friends, a roof over my head, a great school and food to eat. One year I asked my mom where we got it from and she said she got it from her great aunt who was from Norway and this signifies my family's ancestry, this ornament reminds me of my norwegian traditions my great aunt has passed down to our family for example every year we bake krumkaka before christmas which is a norwegian cookie.
