The object I chose is a necklace. This necklace is 4 generations old. It belonged to my great grandfather William who I am named after.  This necklace now belongs to my dad and soon me. The necklace is made out of pure gold and it has Hebrew words on it.  William was very proud of being Jewish and he wore the necklace because he was proud of his religion.  The necklace is actually a Mezuzah which says may the Lord bless the and keep thee. This necklace is old but still going strong and I know it will go on for a long time.
