The bracelet

My grandma was known for the jewelry she wore. When my grandmother passed away, my mom, being the only daughter, was able to get the jewelry that my grandma left behind, and give a few pieces of jewelry to me and my sister. My grandma had little bags of pearl necklaces, huge statement necklaces and earrings, and some of the coolest-looking pieces of jewelry I’ve ever seen. Ever since my grandma passed away, I would give myself a reminder of the times I've spent with her by looking back at old pictures and videos we had of her or with her. When I was looking through her jewelry to wear for a few occasions this year, out of all of them, one of the bracelets really stood out to me. It was a gold bracelet with little hearts spaced out on it. I chose this bracelet specifically because it gives me a reminder that even though she isn’t here with us physically, she is still here with us with these little reminders of her. In the future, I hope that this bracelet and her other pieces of jewelry will be passed on to the next generations after my sister and me, and we will be able to tell the stories and memories about our grandma.
