Glassholder

Partner:

This is an antique Soviet-era glassholder. It was used primarily in the home and on trains. It was used for drinking tea or coffee with the properly sized glass inserted into it. My mother, father, and grandparents all remember drinking tea from these on train rides. This particular glassholder is made of metal and has an image of the Kremlin engraved on the side, as well as a wing-like handle.

Year: 1960
