My Nonna's Angel Statue

When I had my confirmation, my Grandma gave me a guardian angel statue as a gift, telling me her Nonna also gave it to her when she got confirmed. I took it home and thanked her, planning on researching its whereabouts. The writing “Giuseppe Armani” is not the guardian angel's name, but the artist who made it. Giuseppe Armani was an Italian sculptor and artist who lived in Florence and commonly made sculptures of angels. In Christianity, guardian angels represent protectors who guard people from evil. This angel statue holds deep meaning to me due to my family’s faith in guardian angels and knowing that many people in my family before me prayed to this angel statue.
