My object is a prayer mat, it’s mandatory in my religion. In my religion we pray 5 times a day on this mat. This mat is made in all around the world, since there are lot of people that are Muslims, a lot of countries make them. This prayer mat is called Janamaz in Arabic. The Janamaz is used for praying. The mat has a rectangular shape and it’s made out of soft fabric, in the middle of the Janamaz it has a picture of Mocca and the outer part of the mat has a stitched pattern. I chose this item because it’s the most common in the Muslim religion. This is important because the mat is the only place i can pray on. This mat gives manners and respect to the culture. The mat I have is mostly connected to my mom, it was a gift from her mom and she brought it from Saudi Arabia.
