I watched a video by Laila Halaby who talked about her ring she got from her dad when she was born. 
My item is a giraffe stuffy. When I was little I loved everything about giraffes. One day I was with my family and we went in to a toy store. I went to the stuffed animal section and saw a very cute giraffe stuffy. I grabbed it and rushed to my parents to ask them if they could buy it for me. They said no and I went to put it back. A few months later on Christmas morning I opened a gift and saw it was the exact giraffe stuffy I wanted! It became my favorite stuffy that I would bring everywhere.
