My Gigi's soup is filled with love. She does'nt cook anymore but, the recipe was passed down to my grandma, and Dad. My dad uses two chickens to make the broth, and carrots and celery for additons. There are a few other spices I don't know, but it is consitantly the best soup I have ever had. The original recipe had no matzo ball, but my dad makes some to add anyway. My family has it often becuase it is our favorite homade soup. I'm not sure how this recipe came to be, if it is older than my great  grandma gigi, or if she created it. It brings us joy and its something that makes my family happy.
