Every person is born with only one life and is told to live it to the fullest, but immigration provides an opportunity to live a second life. This second life is filled with many conflicting feelings. Escaping tremendous persecution and discrimination, while immigrating to a prophesied sanctuary that leaves immigrants in guarded isolation. Immigration is not trauma free, but does provide refugees the chance to strive for the American dream.
