Figaro has been with me since I was one year old, travelling with me from house to house, seeing all sides of me. He has always been right by me--basically glued to me--and a reminder of how far I've come. I feel like my German and Swedish ancestors who immigrated here would agree on how important he is to my story. Without him, I wouldn't be inspired to follow my dream job that would thrive in America. If I had to immigrate here, he would be the first thing I bring with me. He means everything to me and I can't imagine a life without him. It makes me think of all those who had to come here and leave their pets, leaving their memories.
