My Fathers Super Bowl 57 ring, pretty insane. Selling premium seating for the Chiefs, one of the better benefits is that he gets a Super Bowl ring with his own name engraved in it. The many diamonds and few Rubys give it a beautiful enhancement to the many past rings, but this one was special for a different reason. All things aligned toward Phoenix, Arizona. Where my parents got married, had my sister and I and grew up there for a few years. So, when the Chiefs made it and eventually won the Superbowl in my hometown, it meant a lot to have something to represent our home. The irony of having the chiefs win in Phoenix was meant to be and that is why it’s special toward our home and family. It makes us always remember the past and where our family started, knowing how much our family has grown to get to that position and my father getting rewarded with it. It makes us stay humble, in which the Matthies family will always be.
