I, like many others, am not 100% sure of my heritage and family immigration story. On my fathers side, we are from Germany as far as I know. The ring in the picture is actually a ring my grandpa gave to my grandmother when he proposed. His father was a jeweler, and he asked him to make a ring for her and thats the one he got. She later gave it to me.
The jewelry box is from my moms side and has been in the family for a long time. I'm sure of their immigration story as her family has been in this area for as long as she can remember.
