My mother came to this country with nothing other than some money and these family photos. Living alone in the US with very few acquaintances, she found comfort in these pictures and kept them framed where she lived. As time went on and her life in America took off, these pictures helped to serve as a reminder of her early life in Poland. These pictures still hang on the wall in our house today as a reminder of where our family comes from.
