I emigrated to the US a long time ago from Egypt. I was always wondering and curious how the family life of our grandparents was.  One of my friends posted this photo on Facebook and explained how the modern families act and behave almost the same way that ancient Egyptian did 3200 years ago.  They loved their children. In lower class families the mother raised the children. In wealthy families, they had slaves and servants that assisted them in taking care of the children. If a family could not have children, they would pray to the gods all the time. They would also use magic to try to get children. They could also adopt if they wanted to. The story reminds me of how I should be so proud of my old roots.
