"Family Favorites" Cookbook
For my important artifact, I chose a cookbook called “Family Favorites”, which has been passed down through my family for four generations. It is filled with recipes from all of my family members, and each recipe has a special story written at the bottom, explaining which family event it was made for. The recipes represent the different cultures my family and I come from, including German, Italian, and Irish. As shown in the images above, the cookbook includes various photos of many different generations of my family, dating all the way back to my great-grandparents. These pictures make this cookbook even more special, as they make me feel like a piece of my family is with me whenever I prepare these recipes. I am so grateful to have this meaningful artifact in my family, and I plan to continue the tradition of passing it down to future generations.
