An item that represented my family’s journey from Mexico was prayer and God. My family had a cross that’s been with them since my grandfather passed away. It is significant because it represents our family through our belief in God. It represents myself because I do believe in God and have a lot of faith towards God. God was the way that helped my family through their journey but this particular cross is what symbolizes their journey and faith.
