My grandmother's grandmother was in a Scotland Clan called the Campbells. Clan Campbell is a Highland Scottish clan. Historically one of the largest and most powerful of the Highland clans, their lands were in Argyll and the chief of the clan became the Earl and later Duke of Argyll. This plaque was passed down for many generations of my mother's side of the family.  Today it proudly hangs above the doorway in my family's dining room.
