My chosen object was family/friend's recipe book.  I chose this because it shows memories and past down traditions from previous generations.  My dad's friends, my mom's friends, cousins, and other family members can all be found in this book.  We use this book on Christmas and Thanksgiving dinners.  This book was actually a Christmas present to our family, and others, made by my mom.  This object is very important to me and my family, because it shares memories every time, we look through it.  It also includes old and recent pictures to show what our generations looked like.  It reminds my dad that he is married, and that he will do anything to keep his wife happy by wearing matching family sweaters. I'm very grateful to have a recipe book from most of our family to share.
