As a part of my Greek Heritage, family is very important in my life. Greeks tend have large extended families with countless of cousins, aunts, and uncles. My family is no different. However, I do not not get to see my whole extended family very often throughout the year. I only see them all together during big holidays. One of those big holidays where I get the chance to see my large Greek family is Christmas. It has been a tradition for my family for many years for Christmas to be celebrated at my house. Normally there are over 50 family members who come over to celebrate with us. Imagine, 50 loud Greeks crammed all in one average sized house. Yes, it gets hectic, but nothing can be better than celebrating Christ with the people who share the same roots as me, and even more importantly, the people I love.
