Redesigning fabric with thread is a tradition Ms. Brenda Stirgus leaned when she was a small child.  The new designs Ms. Brenda Stirgus’ created with her family became quilts that were often sold to earn additional income.  Quilting involved sharing stories and stitching new designs. The tradition of crafting quilts also included another significant element, love.  This family tradition of redesigning fabric with love has led Ms. Brenda Stirgus to an appreciation for diversity and a love of community.
