I was adopted from Ethiopia when I was just a baby! While me and my parents were in Ethiopia, they bought many items. These items are given to me one by one each year for my birthday. It is my favorite tradition that is unique to our family! When I was younger for three years my parents gifted me these beautiful dresses. I grew up dressing up in these, playing princess or even just eating dinner in them. I would even sometimes wear them to Ethiopian restaurants whenever we went. These dresses became such a big part of my childhood and as I grew out of them, it was very hard to part from wearing them so often. But I plan on giving them to my daughter in the future so that she can experience a childhood filled with a little part of Ethiopia just like me.
