Egyptian Breakfast

Group:

I came to New York when I was in the first grade. I didn't speak English and refused to accept the American culture. However, not long after I found myself adapting to the new environment and enjoying the diversity that I once despised. Regardless of so, my family and I always held on to our Egyptian side. Every morning that we are all gathered at home, we enjoy an Egyptian breakfast together and not once did we forget where we came from; but also grew to love where we are now.
