Eagle Figurines
I chose to share the eagle figurines that are important to my mom and uncle, because they belonged to my Grandpa. He passed away when I was young. They hold sentimental value more than anything. My Grandpa lived in Burns, Oregon, and drove semi-trucks when he was alive. He died while driving a truck due to health complications. My mom also keeps two semi trucks on this shelf. I believe the eagles were important to him because they represented his love for his country. There is also a figurine that he made of him and my mom that is special to her. My mom grew up in Oregon and lived there until we moved to North Dakota. I never knew my Grandpa, but he was very important to my mom and uncle. I hope to learn more about him. The eagles make me feel proud of my uncle, too. He still lives in Oregon and is on active-duty military. The eagles are so important to my uncle; he has a tattoo of an eagle to remember his dad. Because it is important to my family and I love my family, I hope to keep the eagles for generations to come. I would really like to ask my Grandpa about his love of eagles and about his life, because I didn't really know who he was. The bald eagle is the bird that represents the United States, but it also represents my family and their great pride in their country.
