My object is called “Dulce de Corpus Christi”. They are sweet treats that are made in my city Cuenca, Ecuador during a religious festival that is super important to the Catholic religion. This festival begins on June 15 and it ends on June 22. For seven nights, the city is adorned with delicious displays of every Candy that you can imagine. There are families milling around the city center buying, savoring sweet treats and celebrating at the same time. When I was a child, that festival was the best days of my life. I wouldn't just eat candy for seven days, but I also used to spend time with the people I love the most.
