This is a picture of arroz con gandules, the national food of Puerto Rico. This object is important to me because my mom taught me how to make it and it tastes really good. Arroz con gandules is made for every day meals but is always made for holidays or special events. For holidays like Thanksgiving, arroz con gandules is made in very large pots to feed over 20 people.
