DOLL of Ana's memory
Toys matter. A five year old girl left her home taking with her no memories but a doll she received from her dad carried from DR to america. This doll is about 6-7 inches tall, she has dark brown hair with a white hat on and a fancy coat on over a white long dress. This doll is vary important because Ana carried it from DR to America when she immigrated. Ana was pulled because the rest of her family lived in America, also her family believed that america was a safer place than DR. The five year old girl didn't know weather sh wanted to leave or stay, not that she had a choice. After arriving to America it was obviously different and hard to manage, but Ana believed that she liked how the schools worked better here than how they worked in DR. Years later after Ana was 14 she finally got her papers and now she can go back to DR and visit. Immigrants should know that their experience matters because that's what makes America, (immigrants). Also immigrants should understand that their and others's experience are important because some people, America was their only hope for better life and didn't make it to her for whatever reason. People should learn to not give hate towards immigrants because everybody that live's in America is an immigrant weather their family immigrated 3 generation ago or even longer. (Every body is an immigrant). The only people that are not immigrants are native Americans.
