My grandmothers’ name is Norma Iglesias. She was born on October 29, 1938 in a small town called Laguna Salada, Jaibon. That is a small town in the Dominican Republic. She passed away on New Years Eve in 1995. I inherited her lovely 18k golden ring that she bought in Colombia. I also inherited her jean bag that she made herself when she used to work in a factory in Brooklyn. I believe she use to work in Williamsburg. In the factory she worked in she made sweaters, pants, shirts and even military uniforms. She was really good at sewing and she was really into fashion herself.
