The object I picked for this project was a deck of cards. It’s a blue Back to the Future deck, it’s Bicycle branded. They are the normal cardstock deck, not plastic or anything. They are my favorite deck and go with me everywhere. They’ve been worn from overuse as well as travel. Everybody in my family plays and enjoys card games. We have family and house games, like Nertz, Pitch, 31, Golf, and Spades, so it connects to my family. I was probably four years old when I first played cards, so I’ve been playing for most of my life. It's a little inherited that I know how to count cards. Playing cards connects me to my family. People need to understand that games connect us all, Blackjack is a simple game so everybody can play it, poker has been played for decades. Card games have been connecting people for centuries.
