My object is a cross necklace. This object was given to me by my godmother and godfather the day of my first communion, which is part of my religion. My first communion was in 2020, I remember when I would go to church earlier like at 9 for the communion classes and then would stay for church at 11 after the classes ended. The actual day of my first communion was July 12 2020. I remember enjoying this day very much because I got to spend it with my family and godparents. After church we had a barbecue and just spent time together which was very nice. My object is very special to me because it's part of my religion and because it's from the same godparents I've had since my baptism which I am now also having for my confirmation, which are very special to me even though I don't see them a lot. I've had this necklace for about 6 years and I've taken very good care of it ever since because it really does mean a lot to me because the day I received it, it was blessed and it just gives me a sense of comfort and protection and it just makes me feel safe. I will continue to take very good care of this necklace because of how sentimental and special it is to me and also because it's related to my beliefs and my family's beliefs.
