My family is really religious. We might not go to church every sunday, usually we go for holidays, but no matter what we do, we always let God guide us. As far as our great grandparents, we are all catholic. Cross represents the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and symbolizes forgiveness of your sins, faith, and  redemption. When I was three years old I got baptized in the same church as my mom called St. Sophia Cathedral. That’s when our close family friends became my god parents. They bought me the cross and ever since then I’ve been wearing it on my neck or just keeping it somewhere close to me. It is a small gold cross with Jesus on it. This object is really important to me as I feel safer when I wear it and I feel under God’s protection. It is also important to me, as I believe that if our family friends weren’t chosen by my parents to baptize me, we wouldn’t be as close as we are today. That’s why I chose this object.
