When my nonna and nonno were little, they came here from Itay. They have always made the italian culture a big part of my family. Part of the Italian culture is called a cornicello. A cornicello is a red horn that looks like a chilipepper. It is supposed to protect you from the evil eye. Mostly everyone in my family has one so it makes it special. We all have one on our key chains, cars, or houses. What also makes it special is having something that i have hanging in my car that always remind me of my grandparents and where they and my family is from.
