A long history of successful coffee growing traditions in Colombia has helped make Colombian coffee famous around the world.  Colombia's coffee country covers vast regions of the Andes Mountain range farming landscapes.  The coffee here is more than just a crop; coffee growing has become a part of Colombia's national identity.  Coffee in Colombia is much more than simply a hot drink; it is an important aspect of national identity.  It brings people together and creates connections and friendships.  It has become an important symbol of Colombian identity and even provides for tens of thousands of livelihoods throughout the country.
