My family’s tradition of painting Christmas ornaments started in my first‑grade year during a small school event called Ornament Night. We painted a few ornaments there, and when they were mailed to our house, we kept them as something special. Even though the original ones were accidentally thrown out during a move, the tradition didn’t end. We began making new ornaments every year, turning it into something was looked forward to. Creating designs brought a lot of joy into our home. It became a simple but meaningful way for us to spend time together, and it helped bring us a little closer as a family.
