Pokemon Adventures is a manga series authored by Hidenori Kusaka,which my parents gave it to me at my 14th birthday.There are many other books i adore, but these are my favorite books,the ones I keep nearby for writing inspiration.Each changed me in an unforgettable way. As far as considering my childhood, it was pretty middle class, a dad who worked full-time and a mom who stayed home part of the time with my sister and me. We spent summers running through the sprinklers and winters making snow ice cream. Was it perfect?.NO! But, it wasn’t super dark like my favorite books,I remember when I'm reading this at night,when the protagonist,Red,travel to Lavender Town where Pokemon go to be buried.Imagine, if you will, a child reading Pokemon manga for the first time.They’re told the manga is about friendship, about bonds, about exploring, about catching them all.And all of suddenly,you see there's a white hand behind Red's back and I realize it was one of the ghost from Lavender Town.It was at that time,where I got the most goose bumps and chills.I never have so much goose bumps in my life.Later on,I started to do some research online and found out that the white hand appear in the anime too,and as I do more research I started to like Pokemon and all the scary stuff to it.At last,this book inspire me the motivation to adventure around the world in the future,and all the mysterious behind it.
