What I picked is a special recipe called Chicken soup. It’s made out of chicken, celery, carrots, leek, parsnip and dill. The matzo balls are made out of matzo meal, eggs and oil. It is called the jewish penicillin because it used to make people feel better. It’s also my favorite food, often eaten on shabbat and jewish holidays. This recipe came from a jewish polish grandma but is mostly made in Ashkenazi jewish (European jews) household.  This object was passed down from my grandma to my mom . The occasions it's used for is shabbat , Passover, Rosh  Hashanah and when someone is not feeling well . Or as a comfort food. This object connects to my identity and culture by chicken soup with matzo balls is also a main food in my culture . If you ask anyone who is Jewish or not what food reminds you of the Jewish culture, they will probably tell you chicken soup with matzo balls.This object is important to me because it is something a part of my family and culture .And it taste good .
