Molcajete is a type a thing that you can make sauce with. It is a mexican object and it is made out of stone. You can buy them in the United States but I think they were made in Mexico. In the object we use it to make sauce when family come over or any celebrations and holidays. The Molcajete is like a blender but its with the rock. People put fruit or vegetable that they put in there it gets smash with the rock and turns into liquid. Most people use it to make sauce. You can use it for something else to. You can make red sauce, green sauce, and guacamole.You can smell it and taste when your making the sauce and you can add stuff if you think it’s missing something. If you like it spicy and you taste it and if it's not spicy you can add more picante. I think the Molcajete was the first thing to make sauce with before the blender was made. Know most of the people don’t use the Molcajete any more because the blender it’s easier to make the sauce know these days.
