chicken noodle soup
My object is a chicken noodle soup recipe. This recipe ran through many generations of my family and came from Poland. Before World War 2 my great-grandma lived in Poland. As a young child her mother would make this chicken noodle soup for her all the time. After surviving the Holocaust and coming to America, many years later my great-grandma Rose started making this soup for her own family. In two generations I am born and my great-grandma rose is still making her famous chicken noodle soup. We now eat this soup on every Jewish holiday or even just family gatherings including Shabbat. After my great-grandma passed away, we continued the tradition of this soup recipe. Now my grandma makes it for all of our family gatherings. My object represents Judaism. Chicken noodle soup is a common food for Jews to eat on holidays. This specific recipe goes way back and means so much to me and my family because it has been through so many generations.
