My object is jerk chicken. I believe the recipe is from Jamaica and it's used to eat. My family uses it as food. My family makes it out of chicken and some kind of spice from traders joes. My mom makes or orders it for me and my brother and herself. 
I chose jerk chicken because I feel like it's the only thing I have that's from Jamaica and because it's a recipe that my mom brought from Jamaica, when she immigrated here. Her mom taught it to her.
I usually eat it with rice and beans Although it can be eaten with bread or potatoes. Also the jerk spice itself can be very hot or mild in flavor. We like eating jerk chicken.
