Love's Glow

On Halloween night, we strolled through the store,
Walmart's aisles with pumpkins galore.
You picked a bear with a glowing heart,
And I found one too, a work of art.

Their orange fur with jack-o’-lantern faces,
Dressed in skeleton clothes, full of spooky graces.
We whispered secrets as we filled them just right,
Made them say “I love you,” in the soft fading light.

With glowing pumpkins and bears by our side,
We went out to eat, hearts open wide.
The world felt enchanted, the night ours to keep,
As we laughed and we ate, our love running deep.

Afterward, we danced in the midnight air,
Our bears in hand, without a care.
Polaroids snapped as we spun around,
The city asleep, but love was the sound.

Skeletons and pumpkins, twirling in glee,
A Halloween night, just you and me.
The bears by our side, glowing in the dark,
A perfect end to a love-lit spark.
