Charm Bracelet
I watched the video by Dipika Mukherjee, where she talks about her charm bracelet that was given to her by her parents.
My object is a silver bracelet covered with lots of tiny 'feet' charms. I was first handed the bracelet (without any of the charms on it) on my second week of elementary school. I was in 3rd grade, since I had been homeschooled up until that point. One of my classmates had told me that this particular elementary school would hand out 'feet' charms for your bracelet every time you ran 20 laps around the school field. At first I didn't have a lot of motivation to try it, since I didn't know that many people. But after one of my friends invited me to run laps with them, I started to make more and more friends. Even today, those people who I ran laps with are some of my closest friends. Last year, when I graduated elementary school, I hung the bracelet up next to my bed so I'll always have a reminder of my elementary school and the friends I made there.
